When I was in middle school and high school my mom and I were crazy for dollhouses, miniatures, etc. We especially loved 1/2" and 1/4" scales. I can remember at many of the miniature shows seeing old pocket watches filled with tiny antique dolls and bits and pieces. Oh, how I wanted them all....but worse than wanting the ones I saw.....I wanted to make little scenes of my own. This was before I even knew where and how to find great vintage treasures. Just imagine the storehouse of goodies I could have been collecting all that time...ah, years wasted. Perhaps I have made up for it!!!
Anyway, several years ago I started finding an empty old pocket watch here or there and suddenly I realized that I had quite a few ( never too many). I decided that when I could find a free minute or two that I should start making some cool necklaces. So here are some of the ones I have created. But fear not, I have tons of ideas for more of these fun pocket watch delights rambling about in my mind.
